danvriggs
I bought this recently but unfortunately our home's odd pipework means we can't use it.It's a new Crown (who I'm told rebranded as Harveys?) Water softener, the kind that doesn't need electricity but gets plumbed in directly instead. Apparently these are much better than the smaller kind that go under the kitchen sink. These things usually go for about ?800-?1000. Full disclosure, I bought it from a plumbing store going out of business so got a steal at ?600. It comes with 8 blocks of salt, and a 19mm pipe adaptor kit.I'm just looking to get my money back on it, but that's still a great deal for anyone looking for one! Here's photos of it, still in the wrapping I received it in: https://photos.app.goo.gl/m25xL2QoGCbkfTNWAAnd here's a link to a similar one on eBay: https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/202052903123?mkcid=16&mkevt=1&mkrid=711-127632-2357-0&ssspo=Y-dH2ir9R5y&sssrc=2349624&ssuid=RzGuaO6SS9W&var=&widget_ver=artemis&media=COPY Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/310578-for-sale-new-crownharveys-water-softener-600/ Share on other sites
