Monkey
My hay fever has gone off the scale since Saturday. I?ve even started to cough. Anyone experiencing worse symptoms in the last few days? Thank you. Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/310927-hay-fever/ Share on other sites
diable rouge
Not personally, but did see a headline about a hay fever 'bomb' arriving as it's peak season, so maybe to do with that... Moovart
There's been another waft of Saharan dust over us which might be relevant. You can see it on the cars since Saturday. oimissus
Daughter's hay fever has been really well managed this year with Fexofenadine and a nasal spray, she's had barely a symptom, and it's not changed over the weekend. Poor you! Hope this passes soon. Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/310927-hay-fever/#findComment-1585837 Share on other sites
Sephiroth
I made it until nearly 40 before I started suffering hay fever - the 14 years since have been pretty grim around March - AprilBut this year it has continued right through until now, and even my daughters are showing some symptoms for first time - so you are definitely not alone! If I take my nasal spray and Claritin tablets daily I usually avoid the worst - but if I forget are don't start a couple of weeks before symptoms start, then I'm on back footFor last week or so, I would say throat irritation and even breathing is a bigger symptom than eyes/nose (that being said yesterday and today a bit better) Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/310927-hay-fever/#findComment-1585851 Share on other sites
Monkey
Thank you, all. And yes, Sephiroth, for the past few days, throat irritation and breathing have also been a bigger problem than eyes and nose irritation. I'm also absolutely exhausted and have called in sick, which is a rare occurrence. GP has been very good and given me some medicines on prescription, which will hopefully work their magic.Keep strong, everyone!
