Hi

We are a fully bilingual French-British family living in a leafy area in south London, and we are looking for nanny to pick-up our daughter from school. Our current Au-paire stayed with us for a year, and it was truly a an enriching experience, however she is going home to South-Africa in September.

Lucy is a bubbly 6yo girl, going into year 2 from September onwards. Her favs include artsy activities, history, reading, and mathematics and climbing.

She sometimes needs quiet time, to read and to rest. Overall, Lucy is probably more calm than most children.

We are not leaving together, albeit quite close (10 minutes by bicycle). We have worked with 5 au-paires already and it has been an incredible journey. We loved them, and they are still part of the family!

If you are looking to discover the French culture - particularly culinary :) - we can help!

if you are interested, feel free to contact us on +447985532816/+447788219353.

Best regards,

S

    • Why have I got a feeling there was also a connection with the beehive in Brixton on that road next to the gym
    • Ah, thanks,  it all comes flooding back. I've actually been to the Hastings shop, I'd forgotten all about it, along with her name! Didn't she (in between?)  take over what  was then The Magnolia, previously The Magdala, now The Lordship, with her then partner? Or is that some figment of my imagination?  In fact, didn't they transform it from The Magdala (much missed) to The Magnolia? With flowery wallpaper covering the front of the bar? Which reminds me of the pub's brief period after The Magnolia  as the ill-conceived and ill-fated The Patch.

    • A belated recommendation for Iain and Paul od Oddbods who came to help me with various jobs before Christmas.  Painting ceiling, renewing silicone around bath, repairing a window sill which was almost beyond repair and hanging a large mirror.   Very happy with their work and they are friendly and very reliable and excellent at communicating.  No hesitation in recommending them.
