Avoid these plumbers at all cost

DO NOT USE THIS PLUMBER. I called out JPS General Plumbers one evening for a problem with my toilet. They arrived within 45 minutes…this is where the positives end. On arrival, all the plumber did was give the toilet a shake. I was then horrified to be given an invoice of £520 for a job which took under 15 mins and without tools (and for which they had refused to give me a quote). To make matters worse, the engineer said that he could not leave until the invoice had been paid which I found very threatening. It was late at night and I had a stranger in my flat so I felt I had no choice but to pay. Now they won’t even respond to letters or emails….AVOID THIS COMPANY AT ALL COSTS.

    • Thanks, yes I need the y piece for the water to go to IN both washing machine AND the dishwasher but the y piece doesn’t fit on the B yellow pipe…  I’m not worried about the waste pipe for now, I’m just concerned about the supply to get water in to both appliances
    • Not sure about the word “input” - do you mean outflow / waste ? Red figure A looks like the sink overflow. If B is the washing machine outflow then that’s where you want your Y fitting. ( assuming all above conjecture is correct). I’d put a cap on that chrome threaded dead connection too. Don’t just rely on the valve. It all looks a bit of a mess TBH 🫣.
    • Yard Sale does have some seating but not as much as FM.
    • Can anyone recommend a local private swimming teacher or class provision for 3 year olds? We lost our place after the closure of Dulwich Leisure Centre and I can’t seem to find any availability and/or venues that take under 4s? Ideally it would be weekends but potentially Friday if I didn’t need to get in with him. Any suggestions welcome. Thanks!
