Temporary shelter for two cats

My friend is moving to Whitstable with his young daughter after the death of his wife. They have two cats ( as well as the dog ) and need temporary shelter for the moggies for a month or so until they are settled . Can anyone help? Or suggest something?

I think they would consider permanent adoption.

  No it was expensive and various recommendations were received from other organisations and also social services who had used in past.
