AC1964
The Herne Tavern has invited players from the long-established Blythe Hill Tavern session (still going strong after 20+ years!) to play a few* tunes at The Herne tonight. As is always the case with these sorts of events, you’re never quite sure who will turn up. But expect some combination of whistles, fiddles, flutes, bodhráns, banjos, mandolins and accordions playing jigs, reels, polkas, hornpipes… The perfect soundtrack for a few summer evening drinks…8:30 kick off.Too early to say whether this will be a regular event or just a one-off. Time will tell…*i.e. shedloads!!
