Our guest speaker is Marcus Dickey Horley, Curator of Access Projects at the Tate Gallery. Join us for this talk in which some of the wonderful highlights of the Tate Gallery collections are described and discussed. Marcus will describe the history of the Tate Gallery, from its origins near East Dulwich to its spread right across the Nation. The talk will be accompanied by described images and also by the use of handling objects and tactile replicas and so this talk is particularly suitable for people who are partially sighted or who might enjoy being able to touch.

All welcome - Free Event

Coffee Morning is open from 11 o' clock, the talk begins at 11:30.

Find us in St John's Church, 62A East Dulwich Road, SE22 9AT

    • Thank you all for all your help, no, there are no plans on the portal for the internal work e.g. chimney breasts or removal of internal wall (but there are for the external) so I have options to contact the council if necessary too.
    • Are their plans up on the Southwark Planning Portal? https://planning.southwark.gov.uk/online-applications/ This should show exactly what they are planning to do. Permitted development doesn't apply to flats. To build an extension to a flat you must apply for planning permission. https://www.planningportal.co.uk/permission/common-projects/flats-and-maisonettes/extending-ground-floor-flat Therefore the plans should be there.
    • I used Luke this week to move a large fridge within East Dulwich. He was great. Professional and took great care. Definitely recommend him.  Luke’s phone number below   +44 7814 456368
    • The very best advice.   People often use aggressive behaviour to hide their wrong doing.   A solicitors letter will give them a little reminder of what is right.
