yes so far so good roast chicken was great and steak but a no no for chips

 

Soak the chips in water for at least half an hour, pat dry (as dry as possible), coat in a teaspoon of oil (add seasoning eg Old Bay) then allow the oil to drain off, then double fry..... Part fry, remove from fryer and part fry a second batch and remove; then repeat.....

 

I know how to cook chips in a deep fryer BUT NOT IN AN AIRFRYER thanks any way as this how I do my chips

 

This is how I do chips in my air fryer (Ninja dual zone XL) and they are always crispy with fluffy insides.... Nothing quite like chips from a deep fat fryer but these come a pretty close second and means my heart attack will be delayed (hopefully)!

The airfryer is a lot cheaper to use... so they say the count top oven I think is just the same as a oven so if you have an oven why get another one ....have look on line to compare.... Good luck and post your results

We have a phillips air fryer and we love it. We cook almost everything we would normally put in the oven.

We now shop at a place in Bedford that gets food donated from restaurants, and supermarkets. It's pretty decent managed to get some kfc chicken.

Last week they where selling chip shop chips, 2kg bags at 50p each.

We bought a normal deep fat fryer thinking, that they would taste just as good as from the chip shop. But tbh they come out better in the air fryer,

Less oily and cook better than the normal fat fryer.

Since the cost of using the oven is so high, with four people in my family I usually only need to bake a pizza and a few extras.

A large oven would cost me a hefty energy bill, but the air fryer's capacity is too small to supply a family.

So I discovered the convection oven.

Yeah it is quite a pain when I'm cooking for the 6 of us..I either have to use the oven aswell or do seperate cooking sessions for the first 3 meals and the last 3 meals.

Yes, I mean the air fryer. Of course, the deep fryer I use very little now and I'm starting to redesign my kitchen. I take these new cookware very seriously

Cutting to the chase it is cheaper to use the air frier, as was the established view. Glad we bought ours.
