Hello, I’m Jessie and I’m 28 years old. I’m just starting my doctorate in child psychology and I’m looking for some weekend/evening work locally. I worked for 2 years as a nanny abroad and in West London, before training to be a social worker. I have a current DBS and completed my 2-day maternity nurse training in 2018. I have loads of experience caring for children - through work, friends and family! I am responsible, reliable and caring.

Please do get in touch if you’re interested, I can come and meet you for a coffee/interview if so!

Hi Jessie

Our timetable might fit with yours.

I am looking for a nanny full time to start now to do the following

Working Monday-Friday

Hours 430pm - 730pm.

-Picking up Boys everyday afternoon from St Dunstan's College, Catford

-Bringing them home train or by car which we can provide if your car is not available

-Monitoring Supervising homework

-Preparing the boys activity school bags for the week

-Cooking and supervising dinner

-Loading the dishwasher and washing machine

We are a family of 4 living on Peckham Rye.

My husband works from home 3 days per week and am at university studying for my practice based PhD.

My boys are aged 8 and 11 and are active and funny, they love playing football, cricket and eat good food! They can argue and then play nicely, so it is a mixed bag of days. We have a dog at home who is sweet and gentle.

Anymore questions please do ask!

Dear Jessie,

I read your post today. I know its some time after you put it up on the site, but I wondered if you would be interested in some extra ad hoc work in the Christmas holidays ?

I have a very engaging 24 year old daughter with Cerebral Palsy and mild Autism, plus some Processing Speed issues who needs PA's in the holidays when she is home from college.

We live in Camberwell, just off Denmark Hill and would love to hear from you ?

Kind Regards

Tamar

    • The problem with delivery people nowadays is that they are on such a restrictive schedule that they literally have to just try to deliver and run, otherwise they are penalised. I understand the frustration though.   And good luck making any kind of complaint to Evri. I once sold a laptop on ebay, took it to the Evri pick-up, where it was processed and it then went 'missing' between their pick-up place and the hub. Went through a long, long process where they offered me a desultory amount in compensation and I had to take them to small claims court before they came up with a fair offer the day before we were due to be in court. Long story short, Evri are shite.   Go to look at this forum for the number of people who have issues: https://nationalconsumerservice.co.uk/forum/183-postal-and-delivery-services/
    • I haven't had a rude EVRI delivery but last week I had an unexpected delivery at 10.42 pm. He didn't ring the bell or knock on the door (or rattle the letter flap) but just took a photo and put the box down.  If it hadnt been for the door camera giving us a beep we would never have known there was a parcel ready to sit there all night.
    • Sorry if I’m being slow but there’s no point in having a gate then is there?  Would have thought it was basic manners to respect someone’s property
    • I didn't say wedge it "slightly" open. I meant to wedge it fully open.
