*𝙇𝙄𝙑𝙀 𝙄𝙉 π™‰π˜Όπ™‰π™‰π™” π™π™Šπ™‡π™€* (OPEN TO LIVE OUT AS WELL)

Please get in touch if interested.

ABOUT US: We’re a busy, happy, and lively family of five (six if you count our cockerpoo).

We have three wonderful children: πŸ‘ΆπŸ» a girl, (1yr old) and πŸ‘¦πŸ»πŸ‘¦πŸ» 2 boys (3.5 & 5yrs old)πŸ™ŽπŸ»β€β™‚οΈ.

LOCATION: Beckenham, South London. 10mins to Brixton and Herne Hill, 25mins to London Victoria, London Bridge and Charing Cross. We have a large house with a good sized garden with climbing frame and a dedicated playroom for the kids. There is plenty of space.

ROOM: You'll have a private double room at the top of the house, with TV and private bathroom which is newly refurbished.

ABOUT THE ROLE

πŸ… We’re looking for a caring, energetic, and reliable nanny to become part of our family.

⏰ ️Hours: Mon-Fri 8am-6pm

- The boys go to school full time 9am - 3pm.

- Our girl does 2 afternoons a week at a nursery, so you have more time to focus on the boys.

- You’ll have sole charge when the children are not in an official childcare setting but often we put the boys in kids club during the holiday period.

🏑 Live in/residential nanny preferred but open to live out as well.

πŸš— A driver is preferable, and a car is provided for the school run.

🐢 We have a cockapoo who is a five star love dog who loves a cuddle so a dog lover is a must.

🌍 We go to Portugal and other countries every year and would love the nanny to join but this is not essential.

What do you need to know?

🧘 Our eldest has mild SEN and goes to an Occupational Therapist. We’re looking for someone who can use creative ideas to engage the children yet set clear boundaries. A SEN aware nanny is ideal but a willingness to learn is great.

πŸ“ You’ll prepare healthy, balanced meals and snacks for the children. A passionate cook is a must. You’ll bathe and care for the kids as we would.

🧹Light housework associated with the kids (i.e. cleaning up after meal time), their laundry etc. We hire a cleaner 2 x a week.

✏️ Our boys are learning to read/write/count, etc. We’d love for you to help them with fun games after school.

πŸ’‘Prior experience with early years children is needed (be it a previous nanny, nursery worker, teaching assistant etc). SEN experience would be ideal (specifically SPD/ADHD), but this is not a mandatory.

SALARY: Approx Β£35,000 per year based on experience.

    • Highly recommend Dulwich Eco Gardening.Β  When he came to quote Saied said he’d give our garden back so we could decide what we do next.Β  Under two weeks of hard work from Saied and Mo and we have the garden back and can see paving I’d forgotten about. Not only did Saied remove our very overgrown greenery. Nature had taken over. He also took back to our fence line overgrown ivy, apple and pear trees and and dealt with a neighbours bamboo that had invaded our garden.Β  We are now going to get quotes for what we do next so those quoting will be able to see the space.Β  Saied has suggested someone to quote and will be coming back when he does in case he has any questions or they can work together.Β  I thought Saied would be a good choice and he was. Quotes from others didn’t leave me with confidence for the end result. That was never a concern with Saied.
    • Having a BBQ (fingers crossed) in 2 weeks and need a small BBQ for veggie bits and any spare benches or garden tables and chairs to borrow to add to mine. Any going? Thanks in advance...
    • Oh dear, hope you are OK, I've had it three times and it was worse each time, but not a patch on many of those who got it before they vac' role out. Not commenting on the discussion as I got confused many days ago beyond the reminder that Corbyn would not compromise and the harm that could lead to him, the party and regards Brexit pre and post referendum the country.Β  Starmer goes too far the other way at times.Β Β
    • I amΒ  ill in bed with Covid. It's not that I "can't be bothered" to read things. I am feeling crap and don't have the mentalΒ  energy at the moment. I am not "brushing stuff aside and pleading ignorance." I am truthfully saying when I don't presently know enough about something to be able to comment. I have always been very careful to try toΒ  differentiate between fact and opinion in bothΒ  my posts and other people's, and I am not clear what your point is. And I am certainly not trying to wind anybody up. This is a forum. If you don't want to respond to my posts, that's up to you. I'm not sure why you feel the need to announce it.Β  Β
