Starting Goodrich pre-school in Sept 2013 - when will we hear?

Hi

Just wondering if anyone knows when you're meant to get official confirmation that you've got a place at pre-school for Sept 2013? I've been told over the phone but no letter or anything and don't feel confident in a place until then. Also wondering if anyone knows when the start of term will be?

All we got is a letter from Southwark...

Sorry, just realised you were talking pre-school. I was talking about reception.

Having said that, we never got our letter for pre-school last year. I had to phone up to find out and thrn declined the place anyway. You should chase but don'torry too much!

I think we found out later on in the year last year, maybe May/early June? And at Goodrich anyway there were still places half way through the year, in the afternoons at least.

I spoke to the lady who is organising preschool admissions this week (Sue) and she said to expect letters within the next few weeks. She was able to tell me over the phone about our place :-)

Same here spoke to sue today and was told over the phone we had a place and to expect letters in the next couple of weeks.

Thanks all, yep same here, she said the phone call was confirmation enough and letters would go out soon. Also said that term would start any time from 10-21 September in a staggered start.
