Gorgeous commuter/kid carrying bike

This is an absolute beauty to ride - imagine the comfort and performance of a black cab...on two wheels. Nothing gets you through the city quite like this.

It is a 2016 Pilen Lyx. Swedish built to the highest specs, custom fitted in London. Properly cared for, this steel frame bike should last a lifetime.

My model comes with:

 

• 7-speed Shimano Nexus gears (an internal hub system for low maintenance) + hand brakes

• Brooks B66 leather saddle in honey

• A double kickstand for extra stability [ideal for loading/unloading kids]

• A built-in rear wheel lock (I have the keys)

• Herrmans PrimErgo Cork grips

• Hub dynamo front light (needs new bulb)

 

The rear rack is sturdy for attaching a child's bike seat.

It has been lovingly maintained and parked indoors at both ends of my commute.

I'm only selling it because we're leaving the UK.
