You can buy cushions and duvet covers in the exact same style, so what was considered naff 40 years ago is now the height of style

A gnome with a well and a fishing rod, or some neon pink plastic seats and huge cuddly toys, would brighten the area as well. That doesn't mean they would be aesthetically appropriate.

Having said that, the seats are growing on me. A bit. But I think they would be better somewhere else, like in a kids' playground for the adults to sit on.

I think it looks great. Cheerful and 'querky' and something to brighten up are rather dull village

I wandered lonely as a a cloud when suddenly I came across something that looked like a cross between a council estate play ground, check point Charlie and a box junction on the A2. Personally I would prefer a host of golden daffodils.

Anyone know what happened to the expensive seating that appeared in the road one day, in front of the barbers and Romeo Jones in Dulwich Village?
