Hi,

I'm seeking to rent property in East Dulwich.

Could anyone explain how on street parking works on Crawthew Grove, London SE22 9AD?

Is it subject to a resident's parking permit? Or is it free as long as there is a space on the street? Are there any time limits?

I looked up Southwark Council's website and it seems that this side of Lordship Lane (east side between the Lordship Lane and B219) is not a Controlled Parking Zone (CPZ). Further, when I applied for a parking permit online, it says this postcode is not eligible for a permit.

Thanks 🙏

You are correct, there is no CPZ that side of Lordship Lane. Parking is unrestricted so no need for a permit. I don't live on that road but I have good reason to believe on-road parking can sometimes be scarce in the roads just off of Lordship Lane. Other forum members may have more info.

    • Saw sand on the floor of the medium lane in the pool yesterday (Friday 24th).   How does it get there? I thought that was the indicator the filters have a problem. The water itself seemed clean and clear.
    • It may also have been a "regroup" where the TSG move to another location to muster in case they are needed....a "regroup" may also be used when they are, ahem, hungry and need to get to a feeding station. The old East Dulwich police station used to be a feeding and watering hole and was often used as such and mobile units would rush there at feeding time!
    • I am doing an art course. If anyone has any large canvases (used or unused, A1 size or larger), I would be happy to take them off your hands if free or cheap! Sorry but not painted with oil, as I am mainly using acrylics and collage, and oil underneath would not work. Please PM if you have anything suitable! Thanks!
    • is anyone getting rid of one or something similar?   thanks
