Happy Sunny Sunday All,

Sion here who used to run comedy at the EDT years ago when we had the likes of Micky Flangan, Adam Hills, Shazia Mirza & more , Hoopers where we had Reg D Hunter , Pippa Evans, Rob Beckett plus more recently Comedy at The Lordship where we had Omid Djalili , Abandoman and a young up & coming funny fella called Mo Gilligan!

Would be great to bring some Comedy back to ED , however not quite ED but not too far and within the rules ( I hope as less than 5k from D) we have final comedy show of the year at The Cambria in nearly Loughborough Junction SE5 9AR , this Thursday 10th November with a brilliant lineup and its a lovely pub too with pre comedy food and drink offers.

Hope you can make it and will do our best to bring some laughter to the people of SE London!

    • Sue. You really don’t have to keep saying about the electoral system    a) we all know about it b) it doesn’t matter    FPTP is the system we have always had and hopefully we will get rid of it someday but it is what it is    when anyone suggests changing the system Corbyn is right there at the front of the queue to prevent it   so its pointless him or any of supporters complaining about it    the evidence you want is the result of the elections. You can’t have clearer evidence.
    • Has anyone from the school commented? Have they said why? Is it a fresh start? Is it that Grove in the name may have connotations of wealth and they want to attract more applicants from a wider area? Is that it currently is linked to the DKH Estate?
    • As you quite rightly say a sample of 500 is extremely  small. (actually unrepresentative in the scheme of things) Now corbyn has his own party or should that be Party, it'll be interesting to see if it is merely a "think tank" or if it contests seats and then if they win any and if they chase currently held seats by Labour. It'll be even more amusing if it unseats current Labour Ministers though.
