I'm a local embroidery artist and offer a bespoke service for anybody looking to commission a special gift or customise clothing.

I use a traditional, hand-led 'Irish embroidery' machine and can produce monograms, portraits, logos, and any other source imagery you provide.

Attached is some of my work; prices start at £15 for monogramming and increase according to size/intricacy of the piece. All jobs welcome; from names and quotes, to album artwork, pet portraits, drawings, sports and movie memorabilia and more!

Consultation is offered as part of the service, discussing how to render your design, and what clothing or materials you'll need for the project. Drop-off and collection is also available if you'd like to embroider on clothing or fabrics you already have :)

Taking orders from the holiday season - turnaround varies according to the design and demand so inquire early to guarantee they'll be ready in time. In general, I can complete monogramming and small designs within 1-3 days, 1-14 days for large pieces.

This service is best used for one-off pieces with a handcrafted touch; for larger jobs and bulk orders I also work at a digital embroidery studio so please enquire.

Email with any questions or to get a quote; if you haven't heard from me within two days it could have gone to spam so feel free to follow up with a text or message on here.

    • Thanks for your reply. I’ve subscribed to Ancestry a few times in the past but felt I wasn’t using it enough to warrant keeping up the subscription.
    • Hi, I saw your post and just wanted to say that the incident you’re referring to did happen in the late 1980s at Dawson’s Heights. The person involved was named Carl Salawa, and he had just turned 18 years old at the time. Like you, I haven’t been able to find any news articles or official reports about it, If anyone remembers anything more about that time or incident, I’d really appreciate hearing about it. Thanks for sharing what you were told—it means a lot to know others remember.
    • Was anyone else disturbed last night/early hours this morning by the party going on in someone’s garden on Crystal Palace road. Can’t see what house exactly but it’s around number 43 - 41… it was happening quite frequently last year. Seems it’s starting again! Very inconsiderate.
