[/img]Ikea BOTNE Wardrobe.

Used, but in excellent condition. This three door wardrobe has two main sections.

On the right is the single door compartment with hanging rail, and three square Ikea mirrors stuck to the inside of the door. Behind the hanging rail at the top of the wardrobe, two hooks have been attached to the wardrobe ceiling for additional hanging space (see photo). At the bottom of the compartment are the peg spaces to insert shelves. Two shelves are supplied (see photo of shelves freestanding), but the pegs on which they rest are missing.

On the left is a double door compartment, with two hanging rails. There is space at the bottom for an additional shelf (supplied, with pegs to hold shelf up). There are a couple of scuff/wear marks on the floor of this compartment (see photos) but do not detract from its usage.

The front "skirting" panel no longer sits straight - the part could be replaced or glued back into place.

There is evidence of water staining on the underside of the base of the wardrobe. This was only discovered when the wardrobe was disassembled. The board is completely dry now, and still structurally sound. The area of staining is on the underside - I.e. It faces the floor - so it is hidden from view.

Wardrobe is disassembled. The original manual is provided with the wardrobe.

    • Hello! We are relocating abroad and so will be withdrawing our two children (ages 4 and 6) from St Dunstan’s College (Catford). If any family is considering enrolling children of a similar age, now would be an excellent opportunity—we’re required to pay full‑term fees unless the places are taken. Please get in touch if you’re interested or know someone who might be. Thank you!

    • Thanks for your reply. I’ve subscribed to Ancestry a few times in the past but felt I wasn’t using it enough to warrant keeping up the subscription.
    • Hi, I saw your post and just wanted to say that the incident you’re referring to did happen in the late 1980s at Dawson’s Heights. The person involved was named Carl Salawa, and he had just turned 18 years old at the time. Like you, I haven’t been able to find any news articles or official reports about it, If anyone remembers anything more about that time or incident, I’d really appreciate hearing about it. Thanks for sharing what you were told—it means a lot to know others remember.
