Sam and James were the second act we put on at Dulwich Folk, and the first act we have asked to come back. That' s because they did a jaw droppingly beautiful set!

The Brothers are from Northumberland , who sing their own songs ( with the occasional traditional song ) which are clearly inspired by ( in their own words )" the still wild soul of the land in which we live, a land alive with presences, not owned by anyone. It is about seeing with the eye of the heart and recovering our imaginations. It is about finding home, belonging and each other in a world which is singing to us as we sing to it’.

They play guitar, fiddle and more! Expect romantic and radical songs which display a real empathy with the tradition while remaining modern, and their singing is underscored by unique sibling harmonies. We expect to be full so get here early.

If England are on the tele we're probably open the doors at 6.30 ish

    • There's a ?new Radio 4 short documentary programme, The Cat Killer Detectives, that might be of interest to some. It talks to the couple who ran SNARL, and provides something of their account of how the project began, developed and ended, and the effect it had on their lives then and subsequently.   https://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/m002j5nr

    • Hi all, it’s been a while since I last posted so I thought I’d provide a quick update on what we now can offer. Alongside the usual bespoke joinery (wardrobes, bookcases, alcove units etc), I’m now also working with a wider range of veneered boards (ash, maple, walnut, etc.) as well as fluted/reeded panels for anyone after a more textured, high-end finish. I’ve also been adding more lighting options to my fitted furniture – warm white LED strips with sensors or remote controls, ideal for wardrobes and bookcases. They make a huge difference once fitted and really elevate a space. If you’re planning a project and would like to explore these options, please feel free to get in touch.
