SOLD: Vintage Parker Knoll Rocking chair - restored

Parker Knoll Rocking Chair, Florian series, which has been fully restored. Vintage, Retro, Mid Century. Restored in bespoke patchwork fabric and Laura Ashley beige linen fabric.

This chair was designed in 1968, and is in the Parker Knoll archives. It is beautifully made.

I acquired the chair from a lady who received it as her wedding gift in the 1960s. So it has only had one owner and is in very good condition.

It has the original tension springs, but the fire retardant foam cushions are new, and the covers are bespoke, with patchwork borders.

The main fabric is Laura Ashley upholstery fabric in beige linen.

The cushions are reversible/double- sided, so if one side gets damaged you can turn them over to the other side.

The wood has been stripped and polished.

Very comfortable.

You can sit on the chair and the patchwork detail can still be seen on the sides of the chair. Could be used for knitting, nursing, sitting etc
