Cat sitter - recommendation.

Recommended Posts

I would like to recommend - Lousia on 07863 771 199.

Having previously bought a number of cat feeding gadgets and returned after two days to a changed cat (distressingly sensitive to our short absence) - I would instead highly recommend using Lousia as a cat sitter.

Our cat (Pique) seemed very happy, and not at all distressed when we returned after a long-weekend. He definitely benefited from regular human contact and kindness.

Lousia who was previously been recommended on this site - has been really great.

She very friendly, good with communication/arrangements and was great with my cat when she came around to visit - however the proof is in the pudding - I had one friendly and settled cat when I got back. She can provide references, and did offer - to be honest though I relied on my own judgement but that's just my approach.

We moved here in January with a very out of sorts, diabetic cat, and found a great cat sitter called Lisa.

She has looked after our boy on numerous occassions and he loves her. Totally reliable and excellent customer and animal care. We also get regular updates when we are away, and beautiful/cute photos of his daily activities! It makes such a difference leaving him in the hands of someone we trust. Also, Lisa is experienced in caring for cats with medical issues. Ours needs insulin twice a day, and she is totally fine with this.

I've PM'd you her number.

Good luck

I can highly recommend Rosie (www.thecatsitter.co.uk) who looks after my two little kittens when I'm away from home.

She is very contactable, reliable and I am so much more comfortable knowing she is looking after the girls when I'm away. I love the little messages I get "from" Fuzzy and Claudia when I get back from holiday. I am also confident she loves their little antics as much as I do!

You can find out lots more details on her website but her mobile is 07952 992 865.

    • They're a fringe party with totally leftfield policies. No one actually wants them in government and by the time of the next general election everyone will see them for who they are.    Their leader even offered a hypnotherapy session to a lady to increase the size of her breasts.  https://www.independent.co.uk/news/uk/politics/zack-polanski-green-party-hypnotherapy-b2819071.html They are total cranks, just like Reform.
    • What do you base those statements on?
    • I suppose I'd assume that Councillor McCash, who is, as I recall, a self-confessed revolutionary Marxist, had hoped to take Southwark Labour down his chosen route - when he lost his leadership bid he must then have been looking for a party which shared his ultra-left views (ultra-left at least in the light of Starmer's interpretation of socialism). The Greens, for him, clearly fit that role. After that his timing was all about benefiting his chosen (new) party - at least he didn't stand for Labour and then defect giving the Greens an unexpected 3 year seat. As someone who doesn't share the wings of his political position I don't wish him well (politically) - but neither do I wish him ill as a 'punishment' for his defection.
    • Agree with all the sentiments above. Hope it doesn't change too much and above all I really hope it stays independent and avoids becoming the same as all the chain pubs in the area.
