Hello,

we have recently purchased a flat and are looking to buy/find:

- sofa bed

- 2 person sofa

- kitchen table, ideally round or drop leaf

- wooden chairs (kitchen)

- double bed frame with storage

- large gold mirror

- spare paint

- garden furniture

- garden tools

- painting tools

Do let me know if you are looking to sell or get rid of any of the above.

Many thanks

Maddy

Hi Maddy

I am selling a double futon company futon - it’s three years old but in good condition. Very comfortable as a 2 person sofa and then easily folds out into a bed. Light coloured solid wooden frame. The design is “loop” and the cover is “sandstone pink”. If you’re interested I can send you some photos.

Best wishes

Carrie

Hi Maddy,

I have an ikea double bed frame and mattress, it’s only about 18 months old. Recently moved house and this is now surplus.

I believe it’s this one:

It doesn’t have storage but I believe you can buy drawers for it.

Let me know if you’re interested.

    • I had lots of books to donate to the HH Oxfam bookshop a few months ago.                I phoned them, and they told me I could drive to the rear of the shop, where parking is easy.  They gave me directions, and came out to meet me when I arrived.  They were very helpful, and grateful for the donation. So it's definitely worth ringing them!
    • Called Tessa Jowell GP Surgery today after failing to get two repeat prescriptions from the pharmacy.  When I asked the pharmacy, I was told that they had been requested but not sent by the surgery.  After speaking to the surgery I was told that those two items were no longer on my repeat prescriptions.  I was told I would need a prescription review. Earliest date would be the 22 September.  That is utterly ridiculous.  Surely someone from the surgery should have contacted me to tell me this after requesting the repeat prescriptions two weeks ago.    Also, apparently, there is no point sending an email regarding prescriptions as they are not actioned nor replied to as I have discovered.
    • Erm... guessing it's like any service... so you can receive/be part of something relevant to you in the area where you happen to reside. You don't have to sign up but you might miss out on an excellent Tesco offer or two. 🤷‍♀️
