Wanted: driving instructor recommendations

Recommended Posts

Hello!

I am looking for a driving instructor in SE5/SE15. I am 28 and had a lot of lessons a few years ago but it turned out my instructor was insane and I was a bit put off and never took my test. I am pretty confident about driving, but just want a really nice level-headed instructor to help me get my licence! Would love recommendations, particularly from people who learned as adults.

Thanks

Hello, I am a local independent instructor that covers SE5, but not SE15. If you look on previous posts you will see a few comments from other learners that found me on this forum. However if you check on the link below you will see around 70 other reviews about me which are all positive. Unlike most other instructors I do not have my own web site, I use the one below over which I have no control which means I cannot modify or change any comment that is made. If you are interested please email me on [email protected]

Or you are welcome to call me on 02087613958 during the evenings.

PS if the link does just Google Silvano free index.

I would highly recommend Silvano to anyone who is looking to learn to drive in the area. He helped me pass my test first time with only 2 minors back in February after having problems with 2 other instructors who I just didn't gel with. He is very kind, considerate and friendly and always helps you when you need it. He is easy going and is always punctual and will always help you if you ask for it. I think he is the number one driving instructor in the area and anyone looking to drive should contact him.

    • confused by the question?
    • My point was in response to this:  "The idea that serving as a local councillor (including dealing with the public, internal party politics - which is always the most vicious where the stakes are lowest, and plenty of unpaid prep work) is a great pathway for careerists and moneygrabbers is utter shite. On a per hour basis you'd be far better off working at Sainsbos."   You could give up your job at sainsbury's and do a councillor's work and be very much better off. Most of these councillors earn this sort of money and still have full time jobs on the side.
    • No. The pool changing rooms are unaffected.   The gym changing rooms (aka dry side) are being refurbished.
    • Thanks for the link Dave. For clarity, the document shows that he receives the standard basic allowance all councillors get and a Senior Responsibility Allowance commensurate with the post he held. He claims no other allowance or any expenses as far as I can see... which makes me wonder what your point might be?
