I am the original person who posted this post ! I said a pedestrian crossing as in where people cross at the coop I should have said Lordship lane ( my mistake ) ! -
I think it's in a pretty dangerous position, so amazed the Police or parking authorities haven't removed it. It's illegal to park on the zigzag markings by a crossing and for very good reasons, so actually being in the middle of the crossing is far worse... -

Because much of the assets have already been stripped and the big dividends already paid out. The big money has been made. The costs going forward to repair the failing infrastructure is going to be huge and the that cost could fall to the taxpayer.
