Morning,

For sale is a cast iron log burner with glass door, available for collection from Honor Oak Park.

Was purchased with view to install in shed, however this never eventuated, it is a strong 7/8 out of 10 condition wise, with some minor signs of surface rust, nothing that can't be rectified with a bit of reconditioning hence the price £150.

Size wise the log burner is the 'standard' size usually seen in a fireplace. It has quite a high output rating if I remember clearly.

You will need at least two strong people and a trolley to move this burner as very heavy.

Cash on collection from Honor Oak Park.

PS I forgot to mention that I purchased this log burner second hand, not in as new condition.

Hi,

Dimensions are roughly:

61 cm H

53 cm W

36 cm D

The make of the log burner is Tiger, new these stoves sell for around £580.

Stove has two fitting points for the flue, in that the flue can be either top or rear mounted.

the stove has been in storage for some years, yet well protected with polythene and waterproof tarp.

Could really come up as a nice piece with some cleaning and touchup with log burner paint.

Thanks.

Sorry I think that might be American bees. But so far as I can see the method for UK bees with water would be the same. It seems the most humane way, as it just encourages them to relocate. I had a nest of white tailed bumble bees in my garden last year. It was fascinating watching them go in and out of the ground.   But then I didn't need to put a shed over them!
    • If it's a bumble bee nest they won't be interested. But they are an important part of the local ecology. I don't know whether bumbe bee nest can be transferred readily. But they shouldn't be destroyed.
