Noting very few repondents so either the public are unaware or not bothered. Going up to £100 (50% off early payment) shortly

Have we all at times travelled with the wrong ticket or wrong train? Or do we get what we deserve.... It's about proportionality/discretion. If I make an innocent mistake then I hope the guard will understand (as they have a few times over the years). If I'm a serial fare doger then do hit me hard financially,

The revenue lost from fare evaders is huge. Millions every year.

I think they are being targeted more than passengers that make an innocent mistake.

There should be more Revenue Protection Officers at stations - the station staff are not expected to intervene due to confrontation and abuse.

    • Hello.   Thanks Nigel and Hparker 😀   I've got new slots available for new students looking for a piano teacher or guitar teacher.   You could start in the new term beginning September, or I'm also available adhoc-styles through the summer holidays at times.   I teach all ages, in most styles, in lots of different ways according to how you learn/like to learn.   Give me a call or text on 07730 402336.   I have connections to lots of performance opportunities/networks too.   I run regular events /student concerts, and play in bands/perform.   Natalie.
    • So do I, but I think they are in trouble as well.  Anyway, that space wouldn't be big enough.
    • I'm not talking about Starmer. I was responding to a post which  said that  Corbyn was unelectable. How people voted in the "more hotly contested election" is irrelevant. Corbyn wasn't leading the Labour Party then. Starmer was. And the turnout for Labour reflects that.
