I'm moving within Southwark and want to get a new parking permit closer to my new house. But when I put in my new details, the website said my details didn't match, so it cancelled my old permit!

And now I'm unverified and can't buy a new one either... Anyone had any experience with this? What can I do before tomorrow morning?!

You better email them now with all your details: reg number, council tax number, address and phone number. Then call them first thing. Annoyingly I don't think their phone line opens until 30 minutes after the wardens have gone into ticket mode but if you've explained in writing and in advance I imagine they'll void any ticket you might get. Good luck 👍🏼

    • Well thanks for enriching the conversation.  Would you chuck Fah - rage in too for his tax avoidance on his property?   I expect it was lead story on Jeremy Vine too.  Doesn't make it a story, just a bit more of BBC tabloid style sensationalism.  There are numerous real news stories in the UK and across the world.  And now, apt for Halloween, you have summoned up the ghost of Louisa. So for the third time, will you now eat humble pie?
