Does anyone know what is happening? Closed and not answering calls. Left my son’s jacket in for repairs a couple of weeks ago and he’s had to go back to uni without it.

There was a note in the window about an electrical problem when I went past on Tuesday, said they would reopen in a couple of days.

Thanks but that note has been up for 10 days now and it doesn’t look like anyone has been in - post on floor etc

I'm in the same situation. I took a jacket in for repair and then they shut shortly after. Have you tried asking the coffee shop or newsagents if they know anything ?

Hi, the people who ran the dry cleaners have been kicked out as they didn't pay the rent. I got my stuff back as I happened to walk past the shop when the owner of the property was in there. She said she'll try to open it for a few days so that people can collect their items.

If they have been kicked out, unlikely they will have any further access. A Landlord would want the tenant gone and will then clear the premises. Put a note through the door stating you are a customer, the item you want to collect and some contact details, hopefully that may work.

I think they are open again. I was able to pick up a jacket they repaired for me last week.
