Hello,

Just posting this incase it is of any interest to parents within the Dulwich/Herne Hill area, I'm also available for babysitting too as I have some dates free in the break.

I have wonderful references, enhanced DBS and currently nanny a 1yo and 4yo, who attends Herne Hill school.

Drop me a PM if you'd like to know more.

I also run a soft play by the name of Tiny Acrobats for ages 0-4years at The Green community centre in Nunhead on Tuesdays from 9:30am until 12:30am, there are 3 sessions each an hour long £5.50 per child and also on Wednesday for one session at 9:30am too. You can book online here https://www.happity.co.uk/tiny-acrobats

Parents are encouraged to relax and sit down on the heated floor with a hot drink whilst the kids run around

I live local and use bus mostly as form of transport, never had any issue.

Best,

Eve

    • Who was Diana Rayworth, when 'resting from acting'. Her successful career was very sadly cut short following a devastating accident.
    • thanks Jenijenjen and all - yes, i remember walking or taking the bus from the elephant (where i was working) to Camberwell to get there.  I think Tim - who's still at Franklin's -  was there in those days, and the woman who ran the cafe!  Other food places that i remember fondly are the ones in Neal's Yard (with the Hunkin sculpture that you could put a coin in ) and the basement lunch place at the Tottenham Court Road junction with Hanway Street...
    • Did you try the emergency number posted above? It mentions lift breakdowns over the festive period outside the advertised  times. Hope you got it sorted x
    • People working in shops should not be "attempting to do the bill in their head." Nor if questioned should they be  trying to "get to an agreeable number." They should be actually (not trying to) getting to the correct number. I'm afraid in many cases it is clearly more than incorrect arithmetic. One New Year's Eve in a restaurant (not in East Dulwich but quite near it) two of us were charged for thirty poppadoms. We were quite merry when the bill came, but not so merry as to not notice something amiss. Unfortunately we have had similar things happen in a well established East Dulwich restaurant we no longer use. There is also a shop in East Dulwich which is open late at night. It used not to display prices on its goods (that may have changed). On querying the bill, we several times found a mistake had been made. Once we were charged twice for the same goods. There is a limit to how many times you can accept a "mistake".  There is also a limit to how many times you can accept the "friendly" sweet talking after it.
