Are you passionate about festivals, having fun, and getting involved in your community?

Could you help make the Crystal Palace Overground Festival happen?.....

We need your help to make this year?s festival bigger and better then even before. The festival will run from June 26 to Sunday 30th, fringe events will be running in the area from 26 to the 28th, with the big park event taking place on June 29 and the festival reaching a finale with an exciting programme of events around the triangle on Sunday 30th.

We are now recruiting for volunteers to work 4 hour shifts over this period; you may be a stage steward or a programme distributer - from crowd control to litter pickers we need all kinds of like minded people to come and make this festival happen. If you are aged over 18 and can offer us just 4 hours of your time not only can we offer you training and a certificate of participation we can also guarantee a great experience, good fun, an opportunity to meet lots of new friends and helping work towards making Crystal Palace an even better place to live.

If you are interested please visit our website : www.crystalpalacefestival.org and register at the volunteer section.

    • There's a ?new Radio 4 short documentary programme, The Cat Killer Detectives, that might be of interest to some. It talks to the couple who ran SNARL, and provides something of their account of how the project began, developed and ended, and the effect it had on their lives then and subsequently.   https://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/m002j5nr

    • Hi all, it’s been a while since I last posted so I thought I’d provide a quick update on what we now can offer. Alongside the usual bespoke joinery (wardrobes, bookcases, alcove units etc), I’m now also working with a wider range of veneered boards (ash, maple, walnut, etc.) as well as fluted/reeded panels for anyone after a more textured, high-end finish. I’ve also been adding more lighting options to my fitted furniture – warm white LED strips with sensors or remote controls, ideal for wardrobes and bookcases. They make a huge difference once fitted and really elevate a space. If you’re planning a project and would like to explore these options, please feel free to get in touch.
