Changing notes for coins

Is there anywhere locally I can change notes for £2 or £1 coins? I need them for a float

I'm with First Direct.

The Post Office won't do it because I don't have a business account there. Barclays used to, after HSBC closed, but they have gone.

I would rather not have to lug a load of £1 coins back from the HSBC in Peckham!

I thought HSBC in Peckham closed late last year.

Why not try local shop keepers - they may wish to change up their own change for some notes.
