Hello,

I am a highly accomplished and successful childcare provider, with more than 15 years of management and Nannying experience. I have managed various charities for children and young people and have offered Nannying services for several private households and families. I’ve worked with a wide range of children from 1-18 years, with and without additional needs.

My current position as a Director for a Youth Charity offers me flexible remote working 30 hours a week. I also absolutely adore the company of children, hence why I’m looking to take on a second job ideally within East Dulwich (where I live) as a Nanny that’ll fit nicely around my other role.

I possess a broad range of qualifications and expertise relevant to the position. Throughout my career, I have developed over 30 award-winning services for young people across London, Hertfordshire, and Essex. I’m an exceptionally organised individual who understands the importance of positive child development in a fun, safe and nurturing environment.

I love to cook and garden; I grow my own veggies which have been an excellent way to teach children the importance of healthy eating and organic cooking. I’m also a very ‘artsy’ person, having studied art, and love any excuse to get creative!

I’ve worked with various families over the years and have previously worked as a Home Manager for an Elite family based in Essex. I was the main childcare provider for 2 children whilst managing additional staff within the household, such as housekeepers, cleaners, gardeners, chefs, event planners, and florists. I would also support the family in admin and PA duties. I have a can-do attitude whereby I am happy to help by any means necessary to support the families.

I am available for an immediate start and can provide excellent references.

Thank you in advance for your consideration; I hope to have the opportunity to discuss your nannying needs. :-)

Sincerely,

Kayleigh Thornton

    • Steve used to joke that my old VW Golf kept them in business. I've got a more reliable car now so maybe that's why they are closing. Sad day.
    • Is Dell Autos closing down completely or just moving? For whatever it's worth, for MOTs I've had good recent experience with The Test Centre in Deptford. They only do MOTs so they don't have any particular incentive to fail you and they usually have same day appointments. Open 7 days a week and late. https://www.thetestcentre.co.uk/our-test-centres/deptford-branch/ Obviously you would still need a "normal" garage to do servicing and repairs etc.
    • So what is the issue? You want compensation for the loss of value, or you want to expedite the matter?
    • No. What happened? I actually thought, considering it was what we used to call Guy Fawkes Day last night, the loud noises from  fireworks ended remarkably early. About 9pm? Maybe I just fell asleep and didn't hear any later ones. Do people actually burn Guys any more? Apart from at places like Lewes, where I believe they still have Bonfire Societies and burn effigies of various political figures etc.
