Hi, I work 20 hours per week term time yes its a split shift so 7.15am to 9am, then 3.15pm to 6.30pm. and 44.5 hours per week for 8 weeks during the school holidays, these are full days.

I'm not on call outside my contracted hours,

I am leaving to take a receptionist job, it has been a very hard decision for me to make as the family are wonderful but I'm over 50 now and feel I need a sit down job that will also exercise my brain.

    • Very grateful for any recommendations (not ads, please) of sleep consultants that anyone has used with success. On 5-6 wake ups a night with our son and needing some help to change things. Thank you!
    • Yes, should have given up by now but haven’t. Was waiting for my train yesterday and went into WHS on platform to buy a pack of fags. Almost feel to the floor when guy quoted me £28.00 for a packet of Silk Cut purple. Was a long day for me and thought I had totally misheard him! Asked again, only to be told that that was the price whuch is well over the odds..when I queried it as have bought, admittedly end of last year was told “ this is what management charges”. Surely this can’t be right…fags stayed in WHS paws while I bought some in Herne Hill at normal price. Still reeling over shock…..
    • I use the one in peckham where lidles is they are really good if you need somewhere closer
