Our amazing nanny, Lorraine will be looking for a new position locally from mid-April. She has been looking after our daughter since she was five months old and has become part of our family. She makes every day fun for our now 15 month old, taking her to playgroups, play dates or the park. She’s also happily sat in the dark for two hours and held her whilst she’s ill ,and has always managed to get her to eat when she’s being difficult with everyone else – you can tell that she’s a mum of two and a grandmother to nine!

I couldn’t recommend Lorraine enough – she’s reliable, trustworthy and fun. We’re going to miss her!

Lorraine will be looking for a full-time, or four day a week position locally. She has experience with a wide range of ages from newborn upwards. Please message me for her details.

    • There's a ?new Radio 4 short documentary programme, The Cat Killer Detectives, that might be of interest to some. It talks to the couple who ran SNARL, and provides something of their account of how the project began, developed and ended, and the effect it had on their lives then and subsequently.   https://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/m002j5nr

    • Hi all, it’s been a while since I last posted so I thought I’d provide a quick update on what we now can offer. Alongside the usual bespoke joinery (wardrobes, bookcases, alcove units etc), I’m now also working with a wider range of veneered boards (ash, maple, walnut, etc.) as well as fluted/reeded panels for anyone after a more textured, high-end finish. I’ve also been adding more lighting options to my fitted furniture – warm white LED strips with sensors or remote controls, ideal for wardrobes and bookcases. They make a huge difference once fitted and really elevate a space. If you’re planning a project and would like to explore these options, please feel free to get in touch.
