Sadly crime does seem to be going up in terms of opportunists and street crime / bike thefts etc. Lack of CCTV in this area means it's more of a target than some neighbouring areas according to police (when they sent victim support round after our car had its catalytic converter stolen twice in 6 months by organised gang complete with balaclavas, iron bars and a chainsaw.. driving a 4x4). Crime still relatively low by some parts of London standards but a worrying trend if burglars are trying their luck when people are actually home. Wonder what local police/ MP thoughts are in terms of whether they could organise more community policing patrols. I read a woman was punched in the face on/near Lordship Lane in an unprovoked attack a week or two ago. Terrifying. -

We had shutters and roller blind supplied and fitted by Affordable Shutters when we first moved into our house in 2012 and highly recommend them. One of the poles and a couple of shutter staples recently came loose and they scheduled in a visit when they were in the area at no charge.
