We are looking for a part-time nanny/after-school care, minimum Tuesday and Wednesday 3-7pm to start end of April (potential for additional days and evening babysitting). Previous childcare experience ideal but would also consider students / those working part-time in other roles. Fluent English (if not a native speaker), excellent references and right to work in the UK are all required.

We are a family of five with three children aged 11yrs (G), 9yrs (B) and 6yrs (B). All are at school locally (11&9yr olds opposite our house, and 6yr old a 25min walk/10 min cycle). We live in Dulwich Village (SE21).

The role includes: afternoon school runs, playing with the children, supervising and assisting with homework and music practice (piano, cello, drums), and cooking a light simple dinner etc.

We are looking for someone who is reliable, fun, creative and is happy to cycle (we have a bike you can use)….and most importantly, genuinely loves spending time with children!

    • A long overdue review for Niko who we have used a number of times over the years, sometimes to properly finish a job that other plumbers have not done properly. He thinks of everything! I only ever use another plumber if it's urgent and Niko is away. A really kind and thoughtful man and totally trustworthy
    • At the time of posting previously, we had no idea of the dates we would be having the children. The maths place - you pay for a course of lessons . The coding session would be good but you need to book well in advance. Also grandson has been doing coding since 6 years old. He now has a 'mentoring role' at his primary school as his knowledge of this subject is years above his chronological age. Dates are still up in the air as their father is trying to juggle leave from a new job in the north of the country.
    • why not have a pasty shop - we could have Cornish pasties, Jamaican patties, empanadas from all the different regions.... I like all three.  I'm still going to support the Chacarero family business, as I don't support chains, just as I don't buy anything from Gail's, Nero, Starbucks etc.
    • Thought it had been a fish and chip shop at one time?
