'Car Boot sale' from my home

Recommended Posts

Hello!

There will be an open house on Sunday 12th March where I will be selling a variety of items.

I really need to sell lost of things and I will not be charging silly money. I am at the top of Peckham Rye Park not far from the Ivy House. Please come along and help me clear:

Furniture

Crockery including a beautiful Tea set

Glassware

Clothes/Shoes

Snowboarding gear

Books/DVD'S/Records

DIY items and tool including a fabulous unused spanner kit

Cine cameras

Bags/Cases

2 beds - A Single

and a Double (going free)

Candles

Car cleaning items

Art deco wall lamps

Bathroom wall lamps - never been used.

Fan - hard to imagine now but its amazing in the summer

Camping gear - a whole heap of stuff including an Andaman L sea Tent.

Beer making items

Cash is most definitely preferred as I don't have phone banking.

You will be able to take home another day if you cannot carry on the 12th.

I am around for another 3 weeks and everything must go.

If the 12th does not suit you, please contact me and we can make another date.

I had to get rid of my car sadly, so if you are interested in coming along to what is effectively a car boot sale but indoors, then maybe you could let me know. I put an ad on gumtree and nobody showed up which was a bit disheartening and a waste of a day.

Many thanks,

Kaye

    • Seconded. Called this morning after reading this recommendation. He sent Andy round who diagnosed, checked and fixed a leaky shower. Very fairly priced, £124 for call out, materials and a good hours work. I’m delighted.
    • I've looked up previous media coverage and gather that the school warned pupils of the risk of police 'fines' for assembly under the extant Covid regulations.  Don't you think they might have felt it a duty, to both pupils and parents, to do so?
    • I'm glad that Barry's have posted.  Their mention of the merger soon led me to (a) bushy-tailed  PR guff about the new member joining the inpost 'family' and promising a bright happy world of lockers etc ahead. and (b) clear signs that the same problems related here seem to have been current and widespread even three months ago.  That's just from looking at one thread: https://www.reddit.com/r/vinted/comments/1nlv3u2/yodelinpost_merger_issues/
    • @first mate not aware of any either. Found this relating to 23-24..  https://services.southwark.gov.uk/southwark-creates/funding/cultural-celebrations-fund?chapter=4
