Hi,

I'm Janey, I am currently looking for a part time

nanny position. I have a level

5 qualification in the Montessori method

(equivalent to second year of undergraduate

degree) a first class honours degree in Early

Years Theory and am about to embark on an Early

Years Masters. I have worked both as a Nursery

school teacher and a nanny. I am a native English

speaker and am passionate about working in

partnership with parents to support children in

their unique holistic development.

I worked with my previous family for three years

and hope to provide a similar stable, consistent

presence with another lovely family. I have

experience working with children from birth to age

6 and am comfortable in a multi-child household.

My previous family were bilingual and it was a joy

to support the children in their language

acquisition. My mother was a chef so I am

confident and competent preparing nutritious

balanced meals hygienically.

Whilst I am ideally looking for an ongoing

part-time position I am also available for more

casual work or babysitting. Please do not hesitate

to contact me with any questions.

Warm wishes,

Janey

    • A long overdue review for Niko who we have used a number of times over the years, sometimes to properly finish a job that other plumbers have not done properly. He thinks of everything! I only ever use another plumber if it's urgent and Niko is away. A really kind and thoughtful man and totally trustworthy
    • At the time of posting previously, we had no idea of the dates we would be having the children. The maths place - you pay for a course of lessons . The coding session would be good but you need to book well in advance. Also grandson has been doing coding since 6 years old. He now has a 'mentoring role' at his primary school as his knowledge of this subject is years above his chronological age. Dates are still up in the air as their father is trying to juggle leave from a new job in the north of the country.
    • why not have a pasty shop - we could have Cornish pasties, Jamaican patties, empanadas from all the different regions.... I like all three.  I'm still going to support the Chacarero family business, as I don't support chains, just as I don't buy anything from Gail's, Nero, Starbucks etc.
    • Thought it had been a fish and chip shop at one time?
