A recommendation for Rafal Lubecki (http://www.rwlcarpentry.co.uk/) who has just refitted my kitchen and completed some other small carpentry jobs in my flat.

The work has been completed to a high standard and at a very reasonable price. He was on time everyday and cleaned up every evening.

Recommended.

  In my experience of public sector funding, there is always room for improvement. That the council are custodians of our money, and are expected to use it wisely and efficiently seems to be lost on them. Just because no council has good financial acumen does not mean we should not insist on it, or should just accept all annual increases without question.

  Could be, Sue. I believe the Year of the Horse officially starts tonight on 17 Feb. So, although no official displays to mark the date that I am aware of, I suspect there will be unofficial displays until end of coming weekend, sadly.
