Hello,

we live in a block of flats near Piermont Green and there is a beautiful ginger and white cat who has been hanging around our garden for the last couple of weeks. We have three resident cats in the block, so thought this was the reason why he was visiting.

Today, he’s been outside our open kitchen window, mewing a lot and trying to come in. We went out but he wouldn’t let us near him, obviously nervous, so we left some food and water out for him, which he has immediately hoovered up.

He then asked for more, which we gave him, and he let us stroke him while he ate. So he’s definitely had a good meal tonight.

Does this sound like your cat?

Hoping we’ve fed him enough to give him the energy to find his way back home. We have photos if anyone thinks it could be their cat and wants to get in touch. He doesn’t seem to match any of the lost cat descriptions on the forum and doesn’t wear a collar.

Best wishes,

Susie

    • I thought the most they sell in terms of hot food at londis is like pastries and sausage rolls and for hot drinks its like costa coffee but its always a convenience store. Doesn’t look too bad in my opinion considering that shop has been closed down ever since i moved here
    • Hi Busterb, Yesterday I turned up with a scanner & towels, hoping to take a deceased tabby down to TNV. The body was moved moments before arrival & had not been turned in to any vets, rescues or animal hospitals. I am wondering if this could have been the same cat & if someone just tried to move the tabby further away from the road. Please be warned, viewers discretion is advised. but this is what the deceased tabby looked like: https://www.facebook.com/groups/900015513463302/permalink/3729980853800073/  In any case, if you haven't been able to get someone to scan or take down to a vet, I can scan tomorrow morning.
    • Wholeheartedly recommend Aria. He was polite, responsive and sorted our leak, from an old tap on an old plumbing system, with no bother and on same day.
    • GP not willing to refer you on? Say, to King's or similar. Odd
