We’re looking for a fun nanny to look after our two little boys this summer, based at home in East Dulwich, through July and August whilst Mum and Dad work full time.  The boys are 6 and 7 and full of bags of fun and energy, so we’re after someone who can wear them out with a mix of activities in and out of the house whilst they are off school.  The boys love activities such as swimming, playdates with their friends, climbing trees in the park and having mad waterfights.  We will provide money for fun activities as we want for the boys to have a great time, as well as the use of our car for anyone with a drivers’ license.

The hours would be 8 – 7 Monday to Friday, (though subject to flex for the right person), and involve making lunch and dinner for the boys each day and helping out with their laundry.  Our eldest (7 years old) has some special educational needs though is for all intents and purposes a normal happy kid, so no special training is required, just extra patience and understanding 🙂

Into September, we will also be looking for someone to join us more permanently to help with wrap-around care for the boys during term time and would be open to a package for the right person to stay on.  This isn’t a ‘must’ as for now we’re keen to get someone fun in for the summer, but if anyone was looking for something longer term that would also be an option.

Mum and Dad are relaxed, cool (or at least we think so…) and always up for a chat.  We just want the kids to have a great summer hanging out with someone who enjoys spending time with the kids as much as they enjoy being off school.

Does this sound like you?  Drop us a message!

Hi there,

I’m Jack, I’m 16 years old and live in Forest Hill. Despite being young I already have plenty of experience looking after children for friends and family, and I am very happy to give references if wanted.

I would love to help out with your childcare should you need it and I am able to start from the 12th June to the start of the new school year. There may be some days I am unable to help out due to school events and holidays but I am happy to give dates if needed.

If this interests you or you have any further questions, please get in touch.

Jack

    • Nasty piece of work. Targets locations with a healthy independent presence and farmers’ markets; typical vampire capitalism. Great supporter of a Brexit too. All good reasons to go elsewhere, preferably small independent.,
    • Hi, oglander , Congratulations on your soon-to-arrive little lion - how exciting! It's always lovely to hear someone taking the adoption route (shelters are having a major crisis at the moment!). I've been in business for 15 years & can say with certainty that most cat owners in Dulwich have catflaps so, not only are they easy to have installed, but you shouldn't find yourself short of helping hands on these local forums. A catflap is a brilliant way to keep your little lion safely in overnight as well as generally keeping track of their comings & goings. I'd be happy to walk you through the set up once you've chosen your model (SureFlap & PetSafe are two popular brands). I'm sure the rescue has already advised, but just in case they haven't, it'll be very important to keep your newly adopted cat housebound for the first 2 weeks to familiarise themselves with their new home. Once they've scent-mapped the house, you can gradually begin letting them out to explore & scent-map the garden. Exciting times! x
    • Hello all,  If your child goes to this gym club: since the new payment system, have you received clear information about the cost per session, the cost per term and when sessions will be omitted eg for school opened days? (I have asked the club, more than once, no full response so far) This term started in late August, before school had gone back (did many attend that session?). Next term there is no break for half term, so there are 12 sessions to be paid. Does that seem to be more sessions than there used to be?    I am sure they are doing their best, but the info from the new auto pay system isn’t detailed enough, and the auto pay just takes an unspecified amount. I wondered if it’s just me (wanting more detail), or if there are others too? (my child loves the gym itself!) thanks
    • ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Excellent service! We had one of Paul Edgley’ s team come to fit some new lights in our living room. They were able to come at reasonably short notice, arrived on time, were friendly and professional, and did a great job. Everything was left clean and tidy afterwards, and the lights look fantastic. Highly recommend! Paul’s contact details are 07802 627967
