As a Final Year student and confident French speaker, I will bring my knowledge of and love for the language to our sessions, tailoring them to your individual needs and goals. These sessions can be carried out on an ad-hoc basis, or for an extended period of time, as we work together to get you closer to conversational level and fluency.

Depending on your focus, we can we can target a number of broad foundational skills including speaking, pronunciation, reading comprehension, listening, and grammar.

For more advanced students at A Level and University levels, I can also offer a focus on translation, literature, essay writing skills, and culture.

I am based in London and offer either in-person sessions, where I travel to you, or online sessions, both with flexible availability over the summer, and on evenings only from September onwards (as I'll be undertaking an MA in French and Francophone studies). I am also pleased to offer flexible concessionary rates as I believe learning is an invaluable skill which should be accessible to all.

    • I know people won’t have any sympathy but the SEND challenge was brought up when taxing parents who have opted for independent school to meet a child’s SEND needs. Funding crisis is getting worse and the VAT on Education pushed children out of independent schools, now their SEND needs are to be met by the state.
    • I completely agree with you - and last night was really terrible where I am. Between midnight and 1am was the worst, where it genuinely felt like a war zone. I had to run out of my house to try and stop a grown man setting them off in open space right by our front doors. In response he went to throw a half lit one at me and then seemed to think better of it. I am so sad at how bad the situation has got here and how selfish people are. Fireworks are bad for the environment and for pets and wildlife, as well as just being unnecessary noise for people too. I have sent an email today to Helen Hayes, which I have done previously on this issue. Would advise anyone to write to your MP to do the same, and to ask them to engage with the debates scheduled for 19 Jan.
    • And they started long before midnight!
    • First mate - I wondered if I was imagining things at 4.45 this morning . Apparently not .
