Dining Table and Bench - Habitat Etta, Black, Extendable - £300

Following our kitchen renovation, we are selling our c. 3 year-old black, Habitat Etta dining table and 3-seater bench. You can still get this model new on Habitat for £550 (table) + £250 (bench).

There are signs of wear because our 2 kids have eaten at it since we got it. This comes across in terms of small indents from cutlery and a bit of wearing down of the veneer along parts of the edge of the table. Photos attached to show those as best as possible but not in entirety. There is also a very light scratch (still shows black but can see it is across the grain). Couldn't capture it in a photo - that's how surface level it is, but I want to mention it for transparency.

As it's rounded at the ends AND extends to 8 (extensions are contained within the table itself), it has a really nice footprint and expands when needed. It is heavy so highly recommend a sufficiently large vehicle. The table comes apart into the top, legs, extensions (2), and the bench I believe can have the legs removed as well. I will dismantle it in advance.

Available from Monday the 29th.

DM if you're interested - thanks!

    • When I had a property with a basement there would often be a pool of water in the centre. I was told it was related to the fluctuating height of the water table in the area (se22) and would not become a problem and the only way to get rid of it would be to get the whole place completely tanked.
    • We've got a Victorian coal hole cellar with a mud floor and after a couple of severe water leaks, I've taken more of an interest in the state of the dampness.  I've been running a dehumidifier for the past couple of weeks following a small water pipe leak and whilst most of the floor is now bone dry, there are damp patches along most of the wall adjoining the next house, a large damp patch in the middle of the floor that will not dry even with the dehumidifier right next to it and a patch of wet mud in a small hollow in the middle of the cellar.  An expert that lent us industrial drying equipment following a flood from a burst mains pipe said there will always be damp, but I'm a bit concerned in case there is a fundamental problem - any ideas from anyone with similar?
