Need a trustworthy catsitter this summer?

My name is Jeannie and I am an 18-year-old catsitter starting university next year. I've been looking after dozens of cats in our local area (mainly around Fellbrigg Road) for the last six years while their owners are on holiday and have references available on request.

I understand cats inside and out and will provide tailored care, including administering medication in food. I also have experience with other small pets (e.g. hamsters/bunnies). Your pet's unique needs and preferences will be my top priority.

I am reliable, trustworthy, and have a genuine love of cats, so you can rest easy knowing your furry companion is in safe hands. Expect regular updates and photos while you're away!

Rates: £7-£10/visit, depending on needs (litter tray, number of cats etc)

PM me or text me at 07513 305637 for a stress-free holiday 🙂

Please note I am away from 12-24 July.

    • I know people won’t have any sympathy but the SEND challenge was brought up when taxing parents who have opted for independent school to meet a child’s SEND needs. Funding crisis is getting worse and the VAT on Education pushed children out of independent schools, now their SEND needs are to be met by the state.
    • I completely agree with you - and last night was really terrible where I am. Between midnight and 1am was the worst, where it genuinely felt like a war zone. I had to run out of my house to try and stop a grown man setting them off in open space right by our front doors. In response he went to throw a half lit one at me and then seemed to think better of it. I am so sad at how bad the situation has got here and how selfish people are. Fireworks are bad for the environment and for pets and wildlife, as well as just being unnecessary noise for people too. I have sent an email today to Helen Hayes, which I have done previously on this issue. Would advise anyone to write to your MP to do the same, and to ask them to engage with the debates scheduled for 19 Jan.
    • And they started long before midnight!
    • First mate - I wondered if I was imagining things at 4.45 this morning . Apparently not .
