Carpet and fitter

Hi, looking for recommendations for somewhere to buy affordable carpets and a fitter.

Also any advice on good carpet for a young family, probably just carpeting stairs and upstairs hallway, maybe the bedrooms.

I would also like to recommend Jim Cox, I've been meaning to give him a good reference ever since he carpeted our house at the end of last year. Not only did he source the carpet we wanted cheaper than the shop quoted, but he did an excellent fitting and obviously took pride in his work. Not only that, he was a thoroughly nice bloke.

Jim Cox has just expertly fitted a very complicated landing and stair with carpet from another part of our house. It's a brilliant job and saved us ??s in not having to buy new carpet. I'd thoroughly recommend Jim (07901 8349011).
