Physio + Restore classes

Recommended Posts

Having a baby is no walk in the park! You may be feeling quite battered and bruised and unsure of the recovery process. Is my pelvic floor ok? Are my abdominals “split”? It feels tight around my c-section scar, is this normal? These are just some of the concerns that you may have. When starting exercise it can be daunting trying to know what you should or shouldn’t do and which type of exercise is right for you.

Physio + Restore is a course that begins with a one-to-one full post-natal assessment with a Women’s Health Physiotherapist. By doing this first, we can then prescribe the right exercise for you to ensure that we address your physical needs from the get go, creating a good foundation to build on.

How does it work?

Book your course

We will then put you in touch with a Womens Health Physio for a 1 hour comprehensive Mummy MOT. During the assessment you will be asked questions about your pregnancy, birth and past medical history. Followed by a thorough physical examination of your posture, pelvis and back. There will be an in-depth check of your tummy to assess for rectus diastasis as well as a vaginal examination to assess for prolapse and how your pelvic floor muscles are functioning.

The findings from your assessment will be discussed with you and a bespoke post-natal physio programme consisting of specific advice and exercises will be designed for you to reconnect you with your pelvic floor and core muscles.

Your results from your assessment will also be shared with your Jelly Belly instructor. This collaboration of women’s health specialists enables the creation of a safe post-natal exercise programme to restore your core and pelvic function enhancing your post-natal recovery to help you achieve your fitness goals.

Attend 5 weekly classes where there will be a maximum of 6 people, giving you more individual attention throughout the session and allowing you to progress at your own pace. The exercises will be functional using a mixture of standing and mat work following the treatment plan set out by your physio and instructor.

A nanny in the room to help with the babies

PLUS you will receive customised home workout videos just for you to do at home

The cost is £115 for the 5 week course

Please note that the assessment with the Womens Health Physio is charged separately to the 5 week course. You will need to pay the Physio directly. We will provide you with a list of Womens Health Physios that we recommend.

Next start date: Thursday 29th of June, 11:30am - 12:30pm

    • Hi all My car was stolen between 1.30pm-1.50pm today in SE22 East Dulwich in South East London. I have of course reported this to the police but not much is being done, so I thought I'd give this a shot. The registration is GM66YOV, though its possible the licence plate may have been changed by now. If you see it anywhere please contact me or the police. Thankyou!
    • Years ago, got my ears pierced, alcohol on site, gun ..done.. Simple.. Gosh, surely your daughter of mothers can recommend  - do you really need to post on forum? Or maybe you home school whatever.. still recovering from shock, posted along the lines of, advice needed about adopting/ buying a dog…. Guess I am now at a age, where I should just keep quiet and pass no comment and read  postings like a “soap” - cheaper than tv licence…
    • Looking for a wrought iron bench with wooden slats in need of restoration - something like this.
    • I would'nt go locally I'd go to Maria Tash in Liberty..it'll be more expensive but they will do a good job and its their buisness not a 'sideline' to other beauty offerings. https://www.mariatash.com/store-locations/maria-tash-london-liberty?srsltid=AfmBOoqMz7Ev-4YqzrlkePX0n3i5JbiggGYSR9kU5z1p_ajP_jjQKqlt I have no experience of piercing at Polished but I went in to enquire about a manicure and I found the staff attitude pretty rude, looking me up and down when I walked in and just giving off a bad attitude like they just could'nt be bothered maybe because I'm not a glam 30 something? I dont know.
