Where to buy mint bush locally?

I want to buy some mint which I can grow in my garden. Ideally would like a ready grown mint shrub which will continue to grow. Any recommendations where I could buy one locally?

You can buy mint in just about any garden centre for a couple of ?. Even a small plant will grow quickly and yield you enough mint for general cooking. I would recommend planting in a pot because it is very fast growing and invasive and will quickly take over any bed you put it in. Now that the garden centre near the Station has gone, I would recommend the one on Croxted Road or the Secret Garden near Sainsburys at Crystal Palace.

There are lots of different kinds of mint, so you might want to decide which kind you want first ....

None of them are shrubs, so far as I know .... not that you can grow in this country, anyway ....
