I have just seen two green lime bikes being ridden in College Rd. in heavy traffic with two tiny children perched in the front plastic baskets. I am not permitted to climb a ladder unaided yet this is legal.

From a health and safety angle - I imagine that this is not legal. When I was younger ( and fitter) used to take daughter to her nursery on my bike and had a specially fitted child seat on the back. I lived in Holland for 3 months and young children were frequently transported by bike. They had to be of an age that could be strapped into an appropriate child seat and also wear a helmet,

Oh I thought you were talking about the nutty boys, those pop skasters also known as Madness.

You want madness - then look at this, often shown by our national broadcaster.  I believe that one of the perpertrators also got an award for it.  What woke nonsense.  I blame it on Southwark, the Labour party, the Mayor, TfL, the rich people in leafy Dulwich and biased scientists.
