Free furniture to collect from Lordship Lane

Free to collect from Lordship Lane!!!!!!!!!!

  • 2 x Ikea sofas. No-one would describe them as new but they do a job. Dimensions are roughly d-84cm, h-84, w-170
  • 1 x Ikea chest of drawers. The bottom right drawer and its rails are not on the best of terms, but it still functions and is likely fixable. Dimensions are d-49, h-92, w-155
  • 1 x desk. The latch door on the bottom right doesn't work brilliantly, but it is closeable. Dimensions = d-55, h-74, d-55

See the pictures attached. Books, TV and anything else in shot not included!

All items have to be collected as seen - they won't be dismantled. I am in a second floor / third floor flat so collection will need to be by people who are strong enough to get them down the stairs.

Ideally the items will be collected at the weekend but collection before then is possible depending on my availability. Priority will got to people who can make solid commitments to collect at a specific time and to getting the items down the stairs without my assistance!

Cheers!

    • Dog kennel isn't a great name for a school. I agree that it's ridiculous for the name to put anyone off going there, but don't see any issue with them rebranding if the parents and children prefer a new name. The school is surrounded by historical 'groves' (reflected in the names of Camberwell Grove, Grove park and Grove Vale for example), so it's not a totally random name.
    • It might help if there are body cams to record evidence and a presence maybe a deterrent but I very much doubt a park warden would intervene with obnoxious and violent thugs - children or not. We need police for that.
    • I had a leaky toilet cistern and Niko came out the same day and not only fixed the leak but thoroughly cleaned off the years of calcium build-up. His attention to detail was matched by his kind humanity. The result was a completely renovated toilet which has never worked more efficiently as well as 'service with a smile'. MANY THANKS NIKO!!!
    • I am trying to find out about people's experiences of the 4+ and 7+ assessments. I am a teacher and have a wealth of experience tutoring for theses assessments (including my own son), but it's always good to keep on top of things as they always make tweaks to them. TIA!
