ironing service wanted!!

flurried

Recommended Posts

Good news I have just called Dulwich Ironing and they have just re-opened!!! My pile of laundry was really starting to get in the way, I have used the washboard, JB Impress and a few other of these recommendations but a lot of my clothes have come back in a worse state than when they were collected. I wasn't informed of delivery times which is annoying when your a busy mum who's usually out of the house. Booked up my collection for tonight with dulwich ironing, hope the delivery driver can get my mountain of clothes into his laundry bag!!

I believe it is unreasonable to put down other companies hard work. Its normal to promote a company if your happy with them, but by all means, disrespectful to false advertise another companies reputation, such as JB Impress and Washboard.

PS; I don't see how it could be possible to get an ironing service done, and receive them back in a worse state than how you brought them in.

    • There was a previous thread about them about 6 months ago. Since then, they have been found guilty and fined for illegal street trading and collections in June in the City of London. https://news.cityoflondon.gov.uk/we-r-blighty-pleads-guilty-of-illegal-street-trading-and-collections-in-the-city/
    • The Government has set an ambitios target to build 1.5 million new homes bu the end of this 4 year term. Possibly unachievable due to various issues in the building industry but ambitious none the less.  What they seem to have failed to plan for, which was brought home by this year's drought, is adding more inferstructure including Reservoirs, power lines and sewerage treatment centres.  Ate they setting us up for more problems in the future?
    • If you know the layout of the Chequers estate, it is clearly unfeasible and logistically complex to project images onto the facade of the main building. Unless you are the military or something.
