Link Age Southwark’s 30^th anniversary celebrations continue as preparations now hot up for their inaugural fundraising walk -- the Sponsored Strollathon. This fun, accessible, family-friendly walk, will take place on Sunday 10 September 2023 (11am – 3pm) in the beautiful surroundings of Dulwich Park, offering a range of distances so everyone can join in.

It’s a great opportunity for us all to get outside, get fit, spend time with friends, family and colleagues while helping Link Age Southwark raise vital funds toward alleviating loneliness and reducing social isolation for older people and those living with a diagnosis of dementia in Southwark.

From 1pm there will be live music from Herne Hill-based big band The Fabulous Honeys. Register for the event and bring a picnic for some relaxation time after your stroll. Find out more at: https://www.linkagesouthwark.org/Event/sponsored-strollathon-2023

  Thanks for the link Dave. For clarity, the document shows that he receives the standard basic allowance all councillors get and a Senior Responsibility Allowance commensurate with the post he held. He claims no other allowance or any expenses as far as I can see... which makes me wonder what your point might be?

  What’s the difference? There’s only one type of changing room for the ladies at least. Women’s Dryside Changing Room Temporary Closure from 2 March Works start in the women’s dryside changing rooms on 2 March for approximately 3 weeks. Improvements will include: Full redecoration of the changing room Refurbished shower areas New benches Male Dryside Changing Room Temporary Closure – end March Once complete, the male changing rooms will then be refurbished. During this time: Please use the lockers in the gym Toilets are available in the wetside changing rooms

  Hopefully just the lamp post got the knock and is still in working order! fingers crossed.
